Heartsaver First Aid:

Heartsaver programs are available in several modules. The First Aid module discusses how to recognize heart attacks, strokes, and shock. It helps participants learn how to deal with diabetic emergencies, seizures, choking, asthma attacks and what you can do to help someone having an allergic reaction. Subject matter includes how to deal with bleeding both internally and externally, eye injuries, fractures and sprains, back and neck injury, burns and electrocution.

First Aid has modules that can be added include CPR for adults, children and infant CPR.  If the participants are working at a school or as a coach, we would recommend a program that might include adult and child CPR and First Aid.  This course is an excellent program for those who work in the health and family services area.  If they are a pre-school, we might add infant CPR.  If they are security guards, the course might just be First Aid with Adult/Child CPR.

All of these are a 2 year certification program and include a card showing completion of the program.

Heartsaver CPR:

This is  a CPR program (no first aid) and the target group may be the same as above or perhaps may suffice for a workplace safety committee or family service providers.  This course can cover Adult, child and infant CPR.
